For Triathletes, Open Water Swimmers, and Triathlon Coaches
Are you are a triathlete, open water swimmer, or swimming enthusiast who has struggled to evolve your swimming and freestyle technique? This two part clinic will help "clean up" and simplify your swim stroke, and debunk some of the common myths that are out there.
Part 1: Thursday November 5th, 6pm (Echelon Cycle & Multisport)
The dryland part of the clinic will discuss key swim mechanics, proper use of training devices, training protocols, and answer individual questions.
Part 2: Sunday November 8th. 7:30am (Ridgway Swim Center)
The "in water" practical piece of the clinic will apply the knowledge presented Thursday, allowing for practice and correction of those skills.
NOTE: As a prerequisite It is helpful that athletes in attendance feel comfortable swimming 50-100 yards / meters repeatedly with short rest breaks.

Coach Dave Latourette: Full time Triathlon Coach and Swim Coach at Montecito Heights Athletic Club. Dave's athletes and swimmers show continuous improvement in the pool and at the races. Dave has had athletes, both male and female, (prefessional an age group) lead out of the water at the prestigious Ironman Vineman 70.3 and Full Vineman Triathlons each of the past 3 years.
Coach Jen Latourette: A full time fitness professional and triathlon coach, Jen has a history ofsuccess achieving consistent improvement with her athletes, as well as her own athletic career. Taking up swimming at an early age herself, Jen has helped many swimmers go from "fear of water" to countless successful triathlon performances.
