Bike Fitting
Santa Rosa Bike Fits
At Echelon Cycle & Multisport we understand that your relationship with your bike is a marriage, both of you have limitations, and when you're both happy you can accomplish a lot together.
To that end, our professional bike fitters consider your bike plus your body, and make adjustments to ensure that you not only get the most of your bike, but that your bike can get the most out of your body.
We start at the cleats on your shoes, and check each point of flex and rotation, all the way through your hands to ensure that you're comfortable and powerful.
We charge $175, and can generally get you an appointment within 24-48 hours, we know that when your feet hurt, you need to come in right away! The $175 includes a follow up appointment in the case that something that we changed does not necessarily translate to your riding out on the road.
We get that your fit takes place on a stationary trainer, and your training takes place in a less than stable environment of the real world, so if something needs an adjustment after your initial fit, there is no additional charge for you to come in again.
Plan on your your fit taking 1.5-2.5hrs, we are incredibly thorough, and that takes time.
Bring the following to your fit appointment:
- Yourself
- Your Bike just as you ride it, do not remove anything
- Cycling shoes
- Wear the cycling apparel you wear most often while riding/training. It's best to be fit in you favorite pair of shorts, sometime chamois differences can change seat height.
We'd love to get you riding efficiently & comfortably!
If the Shoe Fits
For maximum power transfer on the road or trail and for exceptional comfort on a spin bike, we recommend clipless cycling shoes and pedals. With stiffer soles and the ability to click into and out of your pedal system easily, cycling shoes make your ride and your workout more efficient, more effective, and more comfortable. Never get stuck in a toe cage again!
